Wings For Warriors was founded in 2023 as a 501(3)c by Jared and Wendy Rosati after a loved one struggled to re-enter civilian life after serving. We recognized the need for more resources and programs to help Veterans transition back into their communities.
Our team is made up of Veterans and Non-veterans with a common goal of giving all Veterans a path to better mental health.
Our team will lead adventure based activities, such as, pheasant hunting to introduce veterans to mentors. Our mentors will provide insight on their transition back into the community. We will provide a networking site so all participants will have a sense of community. This will combat the feeling of isolation commonly experienced by Veterans transitioning home. Further, it will promote life long contacts and friendships with people who have common backgrounds and experiences.
Once your booking has been approved you will be contacted about equipment and accomadations.
We accept online donations and will send you a form for your tax deduction. We are classified as a Public Charity under 509(a)(2), 60% of your donation will be tax deductible.

My name is Joe Cannon, I am Active duty in the United States Navy. I've been in for 9 years now and have been stationed in San Diego and Virginia Beach. I'm married with three kids ages 12, 9, and 7 and we a three year old Black lab. In my free time, I love to spend time with them running from one sporting event to another, being outdoors, hunting, fishing, going to the beach and playing hockey. I grew up in Minnesota about 20 minutes from the Wings For Warriors property where I started hunting as a young teenager and got to learn from the master himself, Mr Jared Rosati. I've known Jared and his family for over 20 years and can say without a doubt you are in the right hands with him. When he told me about the foundation he was starting I couldn't have been more excited because this is exactly who and what he embodies, serving veterans and the community. I'm excited to get home and have the opportunity to meet some of you, to tell stories and share a meal after a day of smashing birds!
